그렇다고 우리나라의 요즘 상황이 영화의 배경과 같은 압박과 왜곡으로 뒤덮인 것도 아니고(점점 그렇게 되어가고 있는 것 같긴 하지만), 다소 과장된 희망사항을 굳이 영상으로 나타내자면 브이 포 벤데타랄까... 영화를 본 감상을 허투루 휘갈겨쓰고 싶진 않고... 네이뇬 블로그를 뒤지면 좋은 글 많으니 관심가면 한번쯤 검색해보시고...
하지만 한가지, 인상깊었던 것은 역시 워쇼쇼키 형제가 각본을 쓴 영화라 그런지 대사 하나도 날림으로 쓰지 않았다는 게 꽤 와닿았다.

Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose.
주인공인 브이가 이비를 처음 만나 자신을 소개하는 장면의 대사이다. 보면 알겠지만, 저 짧은 문단안에 V로 시작하는 단어(검은색 굵은 글씨로 표시된 단어)가 무려 46개나 된다. of나 is, a와 같은 접속사나 관사따위를 제외하면 거의 대부분이다 -_-;;
그야말로 귀에 착착 감겨오는 휴고 위빙의 대사처리과 함께 난무하는 V발음을 듣고 있노라면 한편의 과격한 시를 듣고 있는 것과 같은 착각에 빠질 정도이다. 영화 극후반 지하 액션신과 함께 이 영화에서 가장 좋아하는 장면.
